MotoGP champion Marc Marquez makes his return to action on Saturday, less than a week after breaking his right arm in last Sunday's Spanish Grand Prix.

Petronas Yamaha's Fabio Quartararo took his first-ever MotoGP victory in last Sunday's race, finishing a comfortable 4.6s clear of Monster Yamaha's Maverick Vinales, with Ducati's Andrea Dovizioso completing the podium after Marquez's huge highside.

Others to watch this weekend include the KTM's of Pol Espargaro, rookie Brad Binder and Miguel Oliveira, who all impressed on Sunday. By contrast, Aleix Espargaro and Aprilia will be out for revenge after their highly impressive winter form deserted them during the opening weekend.

Meanwhile, Marquez's Saturday comeback will mark the first time since Jorge Lorenzo at Assen 2013 that a MotoGP rider has attempted such an early return from surgery to plate a broken bone.

Fellow injured riders Cal Crutchlow (wrist fracture) and Alex Rins (dislocated shoulder) were back in action during Friday practice, which saw Vinales and team-mate Valentino Rossi top the timesheets ahead of impressive KTM rookie Brad Binder.
